Here is a quick list of things-to-do before the wedding. While the list may not include all your needs, it gives a general idea of what needs to get done before the big day!

• Set a date for the wedding
  
• Make rough list of guests -- to get an idea of how big this wedding is going to be
  
• Schedule building for wedding ceremony
  
• Schedule building, reception center, or park for reception
  
• Book Caterer
  
• Book Photographer
  
• Choose Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids, Flower Girl
  
• Choose Best Man, Groomsmen, Ring Bear, Train Holder
  
• Pick out Wedding Dress and Head Piece -- schedule fitting
  
• Pick out Bridesmaid Dresses -- schedule fitting
  
• Pick out formal wear for Men -- schedule fitting
  
• Make Honeymoon arrangements
  
• Pick out Cake
  
• Pick out Bridal Bouquet
  
• Pick out Attendant’s Flowers
  
• Pick out Decorations including any other flowers
  
• Purchase Bride and Groom’s Rings
  
• Order Invitations
  
• Make final list of wedding guests
  
• Address and mail invitations
  
• Purchase wedding favors and attendants gifts
  
• Get Marriage License -- if one of the wedding couple is flying in, make sure they come in with enough time to get the wedding license. Some states require you to be in the state for so many days before you can be married.
